Welcome to the College Company of William and Mary’s website. We are a Revolutionary War historical reenactment club dedicated to bringing to life the company of William and Mary students who left the College in 1777 to join the Continental Army and fight for freedom!

What do we do?

On campus, the College Company supports the Tribe by firing our muskets whenever the Tribe scores a touchdown at home football games. We also march in the Homecoming Parade and participate in the Pep Rally. Every year around Halloween, we run our annual fundraiser of Ghost Tours of campus. In the spring, we host a living history reenactment event in the Wren Building to share the history of the College with our fellow students. Finally, we have weekly meetings where we organize and discuss upcoming events as well as watch silly youtube videos, enjoy historical movies and engage in general shenanigans.

Off campus, the College Company joins the 7th Virginia Regiment of the Continental Line to participate in reenactment events around the Mid-Atlantic. These range from living history events down the street at Jamestown and Yorktown to large battle scenarios and tactical engagements as far afield as Maryland.
